Ihre Aufgaben

• Will be responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and semi-products, from the best possible domestic and international sources

• Researching and evaluating the right suppliers with the best Cost/Quality results, and to continually find alternative sources to expand the supplier portfolio.

• Manage purchasing contracts and price negotiations.

• Adjust the purchasing strategy if needed by further research, supplier reviews and feedback from production, R&D, and quality departments.

• Ensure that suppliers are constantly reviewed about their performance and practices

• Ensure that purchased products meet the required standards, specifications and price criteria and that shipments/deliveries are on time

• Manage the day-to-day purchasing operations

Ihr Profil

We are looking for an energetic and capable Purchasing Chief to drive our growth and our vision who will be a valuable part of our rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate should have the followingqualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry from a reputable university

• Minimum 6 years of technical/raw material purchasing and importing expertise in the Chemical sector (Experience in the construction chemicals business is preferable.)

• Experience in supplier relations, supply chain, and supplier performance reviews

• Great interdepartmental communication skills

• Fluent in both written and verbal English

• Experience in import operations and customs regulations

• Able to take domestic and international business trips

• Proficiency in MS office and purchasing modules of ERP programs

• Great communication, analytic thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills

• Must be a creative, research oriented, innovative thinker to ensure best value, quality and diversification of raw materials from the best possible suppliers.

• Residence in the Anatolian side of Istanbul

• Active driver's license

• No military obligation for male candidates
