As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of tradespeople who work both Day & Afternoon Shift. This role will involve leading from the front, ensuring the that our cardboard and box making machinery operates reliably and productively. You will oversee preventative maintenance and break down cover for our Corrugators, Die Cutting, Inking, Gluing and Folding machines utilised in box making processes..
Duties:

• Supervise and lead a team of Maintenance Fitters, Electricians and Apprentices. Providing guidance, instruction, coaching and developmental support.
• Conduct reviews, audits, and inspections to ensure that our machinery to identify any issues before they become problems.
• Plan and delegate maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Work closely within cross functional teams which may compose the Engineering, Operators, Supervision and Shift Management to quickly address any identified issues.
• Look for opportunities to drive cost and process efficiencies across maintenance, the use of supply and contractors.
• Actively participate in maintenance and repairs, leading from the front.
  What you will bring to the team:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Electrician or in a relevant field.
• Experience leading and supervising a maintenance team composed of employees and contract staff.
• Experience utilising computer-based maintenance systems.
