Software Engineer

Ihre Aufgaben

• Bringing our custom image processing pipeline to the next level using modern C++ and Python

• Implementing efficient image processing algorithms considering camera data with focus on embedded hardware platforms

• Ensuring the quality of our image processing pipeline with simulation lab-measurements and automated tests

• Shaping the imaging functionalities of our products with your innovative ideas

• Developing outstanding sensor firmware using modern C++ (gcc11) on latest generation surveying sensors (Yocto Linux)

• You ensure the software quality using "Clean-Code" principles and automated tests within a CI/CD pipeline

• Working as a part of an international and interdisciplinary scrum team

• Foster the communication flow between scrum teams and disciplines

Ihr Profil

• You hold an university- or technical degree in Software Engineering or related discipline

• Professional experience in software development using modern C++ with an aim for high-quality and reliable code

• Deep end to end understanding of image processing systems, ability to assess and optimize image quality

• At least three years of professional experience in the domain of video or image processing

• Passionate for developing high quality software and like to bring in new ideas to improve the software quality

• Strong communication skills in English

  What would be great

• Experience with embedded system, interfacing with drivers and low-level code based on Linux

• You are used to Python, GitHub, Conan, CMake, Docker, GoogleTest or Jira

• Experience in working with Scrum framework is an advantage

• Communication skills in German is a plus
