Berlin International School is an IB World School offering the PYP in the Primary school and a bilingual international programme in the Secondary school, culminating in the IB Diploma Programmes as well as an accredited US High School Diploma. There are approximately 820 students in the Primary and Secondary school. Our students come from over 70 different countries and our faculty of 90 staff from over 20 countries. B.I.S. is located in two historic buildings set in a beautiful green suburb of Germany's capital city. We are fully authorized to run the IB DP and PYP, and are accredited by CIS and MSA-CESS.

We are currently seeking a qualified, engaged and enthusiastic leader to join our team in August 2024. A key member of the Secondary leadership team, the Secondary Assistant Principal- Student Well-being (Pastoral Coordinator - Grades 6-12) at Berlin International School leads and maintains the school's student well-being and pastoral care program in Grades 6-12. With the unique and changing needs of students in Grades 6-12 in mind, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to design programs, and cultivate spaces and routines that enable the school to foster proactive and supportive student welfare., 6. Innovate with technology to further enhance teaching and learning.
Support learning and program development through effective, deliberate assessment practices.
Facilitate opportunities that enhance social, intellectual, physical and creative competencies inside
Ihr Profil
- A minimum of two years experience as a Secondary teacher, 4. Cultivate multilingualism with an emphasis on English and German language acquisition.

General Requirements for Teaching Positions
