As such, the ESG team is at the heart of Comgest's operations and delivers on two key missions: 1. Our ESG analysts work hand in hand with our portfolio management team to carry out extrafinancial analysis and ensure ESG criteria are included throughout our investment life cycle 2. Our ESG specialists work collaboratively across the organization to implement Comgest's responsible investment strategy, lead collaborative and thematic engagements, manage ESG transversal projects and carryout ESG client reporting. The ESG specialist intern would support the ESG specialist team for a period of 6 months , as soon as possible in 2022 .



Ihre Aufgaben


This internship will help allow you to apply firsthand sustainable finance concepts while better understanding how an asset manager operates. You will work closely with most of Comgest's teams: the ESG analysts, the portfolio managers /analysts, investor services, compliance, risk management and project management. You will be in charge of various assignments such as:

- Answering clients' ESG reporting requests on a dedicated geographical zone - Managing exclusion lists (i.e., fossil fuels, controversial weapons, etc.) - Enhancing the team's ESG data automation tools - Carrying out thematic research on topics such biodiversity, climate change and human rights - Assisting the team with sustainable finance regulatory watch

Ihr Profil


Strong interest for sustainable development and ESG

  • Strong appetite to learn and pick up new skills
  • Student in final year of university, business school or engineer school (Master's degree) or on a gap year
  • 1st experience in sustainability, ideally within a financial institution
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and, if possible, ESG databases
  • Responsive, serious, adaptable, rigorous, good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
  • Detail-oriented, capable of analysis and writing
  • Strong ability to work in a team, in an international environment
  • Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken
  • French and/or other language is a plus
