Application Engineer Robot Vision

Ihre Aufgaben

• Be the primary point of contact for our customer's engineering teams during the proposal/ decision-making phase, and ensure a successful commissioning (on-site if needed) and documentation

• Execution of technical feasibility studies

• Execution of technical training online and on-site

• Support of sales activities with feasibility studies and technical support for customer inquiries

• Development of robot applications as well as support of the customer during application development

• Support of the product owners with the analysis of customer requirements and the creation of MVPs

Ihr Profil

• Enthusiasm for forward-looking applications in robotics / automation

• A degree Bachelor/ Diplom/ Master) in engineering or computer sciences (or comparable)

• Customer-orientation and the ability to quickly understand problems and demonstrate solutions in a convincing manner

• Willingness to travel (initially with a focus on South Germany, Austria, Switzerland; in the medium term potentially also international/intercontinental)

• Very good knowledge of both German and English (efficient customer interactions in both languages required)

• Very good knowledge in the field of robotics/ automation

• Good knowledge of C++ , Python, ROS

• Knowledge in the areas of 2D/3D image processing and machine learning and their application in robotics

• Independent and reliable way of working as well as a high motivation to advance innovative automation solutions in a daily exchange with our customers
