Ihre Aufgaben

• Evaluate and describe system architecture and application requirements for battery systems

• Define quantifiable technical value propositions and collaterals on application level

• Develop and contribute with your technical expertise to the Application Roadmap as well as to the expertise development in the community

• Create and conduct technical training on system level and structure input from market to both Sales and Marketing as well as for development organization

• Drive system concept verification and design-in collaterals incl. reference designs

• Be responsible for technical customer support on application level

  You have a passion for car Electrification and Semiconductors and a profound expertise in battery systems for eMobility? Then the role as a System Architect might be a perfect fit! In this central position you will be working closely with Infineon's worldwide technical community as well as with partners and customers. The position has a technical application perspective, mapping the existing Infineon product portfolio into battery system application, as well as analyzing and understanding future trends and transforming them into semiconductor product requirements. The main target is to develop a technical expertise that is leading to competitive product developments and sound Go-to-Market activities for the battery related application segment. With your entrepreneurial and team spirit, business understanding and technical knowledge, you collaborate with people from different functions to continuously deliver outstanding results and meet the set direction. You have the passion and the courage to develop and challenge new solutions and creative ideas, which you explain in a clear and convincing manner. Furthermore, your customers are always at the heart of your thoughts and actions and you are able to establish trusting and long-term relationships.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or comparable, ideally with a focus on battery systems (HW and SW) and battery cells chemistry

• At least 7+ years of experience in battery managements systems for electric or hybrid electric vehicles ideally at Automotive OEM, Tier1 or Engineering Service Provider

• Proven leadership and people management capabilities

• Entrepreneurial behavior and business understanding as well as Design to cost experience in battery management area

• Understanding of the different Battery Chemistry and integration requirements of HV and LV systems

• Profound knowledge of Battery Management System BOM, Battery Thermal Management, Battery Disconnect and System Integration

• Understanding of the different battery topologies from HV but also 12V and 48V systems

• Basic experience in Functional Safety and Security requirements according national standards

• Fluent communication skills in English, German will be an added advantage
