Womanspace, Inc . is a leading nonprofit agency in Mercer County, New Jersey, that provides a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence and dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults and their families. Programs include crisis intervention, emergency shelter, counseling, court advocacy and housing services.



Ihre Aufgaben


In this role, you will support the agency's robust government grant program, focusing on securing government funding and supporting contract management. The Government Grant Manager will research and track opportunities, prepare and submit grant proposals, and support grant compliance

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinated with leadership to identify agency needs, develop proposal ideas, and set goals regarding projects to be funded.

  • Participates in grant planning meetings.

  • Collaborate with leadership to set and meet deadlines for submissions.

  • Coordinate with finance teams to secure the needed data and financial information for proposals, reports, and grant tracking. Ensure proper and timely acknowledgement and reporting of all grant funding.

  • Understanding of Budgets

  • Collaborates with Manager of Development Operation in grant reporting and have knowledge of all government reporting.

  • Secure needed data and financial information for proposals, reports, and tracking. Ensure proper and timely acknowledgement and reporting.

  • Stay abreast of agency and program developments.

  • Review contract award documents and communicate compliance and award conditions to key project staff.

  • Maintain archive for all grants and contracts, as well as master calendar for deadlines, etc.

  • Represent the agency at external events and meetings as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Ihr Profil


  • Ability to serve as an advocate and empower survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.,

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required

  • 3+ years of relevant grant writing experience with demonstrated success in securing grants from local, state, and/or federal funders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Analytical and persuasive writing skills, and editing skills, and ability to convey complex information in a clear manner to diverse audiences.
