Ihre Aufgaben


The Consumer Business Director is responsible for leading the consumer department as a management team member for developing the desired company culture, and determining the strategic priorities, and operations plans for Qbtech Group. The Consumer Business Director is responsible for developing overall B2C strategies, and for delivering Qbtech's budget and goals for all consumer-focused products in the market.,

  • Member of the Management team - shared responsibility for companywide strategies, culture, and values

  • Leading the Consumer Department and the development of company capabilities required to deliver our goals towards consumers.

  • Developing long term strategic plan for consumer sales growth and, together with other Management team members, secure capabilities, resources, and development of services/products needed to execute on that plan.

  • Working with the Commercial Director to support Qbtechs's overall brand positioning and value propositions and consumer products fit in relation to that.

  • Working with the Chief Product Officer to define market fit, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for consumer products.

  • Developing and executing short-term plans to achieve sales and cost budgets and expand our customer base.

  • Reviewing the company revenue and expense performance on a monthly basis - Adjusting sales and marketing plans on a quarterly basis

  • Developing and ensuring the delivery of effective product propositions for each market

  • Working with the Medical Director and Commercial Director to build and foster productive partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders in the USA and Europe.

  • Process leader where applicable for ISO 13845 and other QMS systems

    Authorities for Position

  • Recruitment of staff to consumer department.

  • Hold performances reviews with all direct reports at least each calendar year.

  • Decide upon annual compensation levels for all direct reports and staff within the company framework.

  • Refine the bonus incentive scheme and recommend bonus payments for staff within the consumer department.

  • Approve financial transactions in accordance with current Power of Attorney.

  • Management of the marketing budget.

  • Approval of marketing and sales materials.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of Consumer Department

  • Management of suppliers to the Consumer Department e.g. digital agency, web developers



Ihr Profil


  • Proven managerial & leadership skills.

  • Broad & deep understanding of healthcare systems & consumer sales in the U.S. & Europe.

  • Track record of successful MedTech/HealthTech product introductions in the U.S. or Europe.

  • Strong financial acumen with successful P&L management.

  • Proven market development ability & development of strategic partnerships.

  • Understanding of employment & HR las in the U.S. and Europe (preferably).
