Keelvar has an exciting opportunity to join our engineering group as a Software Engineer on one of our product delivery teams. The team is a cross functional group of engineers.

There is no question that optimization and automation will continue to transform procurement and the software industry in general. This is a great opportunity to be involved in these next-generation products.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross functional development team of engineers and collaboratively participate in technical design of future features of our platform.

• Write clean, testable code in order to deliver scalable and adaptable features on our platform. You have a working knowledge of common software design patterns.

• Get involved in code reviews and design sessions.

• Investigate and problem solve issues as they arise - be comfortable in communicating any blockers to your team.

• Deploy code, support and monitor the areas of the system you work in. Communicate effectively with your cross functional team to ensure a quality-first approach in all development activities.

• Get involved with the team to help create concise documentation which can clearly articulate complex technical problems to a wider audience.

• Help to build a culture where we own features and see them through from design to completion.

• Contribute to the ongoing success of this fast-paced, rapidly growing and evolving organization.

• Gain an understanding of customer needs and how we aim to deliver on them.

• Participate actively in show and tell sessions, communicate and share your knowledge with your team and the wider organisation.

• Participate in team ceremonies to ensure we are meeting team commitments.

• Work with the Engineering & Product team to gain an understanding of Keelvar systems, dev practices and technology footprint.

• Work with the Engineering & Product team to break down complex features and provide accurate estimates.

Ihr Profil

• Strong proficiency and at least 2+ years experience in software development ideally developing SaaS solutions in an agile environment (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe).

• Hands-on experience with Vue.js, experience with Angular would be a bonus.

• Good working knowledge & experience with Javascript & TypeScript. Python knowledge is a bonus.

• Working knowledge of a cloud platform, Azure, Google Cloud or preferably AWS.

• Previous experience using GitHub or similar source control repository.

• Hands-on experience of writing unit tests and UI test frameworks.

• Good communication skills with an ability to disseminate information across teams via Agile ceremonies, presentations, team meetings, cross team meetings, wider company updates etc.

• Experience in working with a Product Manager / Product Owner.

• You are self motivated and driven to achieve; you enjoy setting yourself goals and exceeding them.
