An exciting opportunity now presents itself to join the University as our next Provost and help shape the academic enterprise at a whole of institution level. As standing Deputy to the Vice-Chancellor, the Provost provides strategic leadership and oversight of the University's academic affairs, with responsibility for the University's four faculties, the Centre for Aboriginal Studies, and the Kalgoorlie Campus. The Provost is a vital member of the Senior Executive Team and pivotal for Curtin's continuing success, serving as champion of the University's new 2030 Strategic Plan. Directly overseeing diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, the Provost is vital in ensuring that a supportive environment is fostered for all members of the Curtin community.

The successful candidate will have a clear grasp of, and passion for, excellence and innovation in research, teaching, and student life, alongside demonstrated ability to provide decisive leadership in planning, implementing, and delivering complex strategies in partnership with senior portfolio and/or faculty leaders.
