Ihre Aufgaben
This position is part of the newly established Psychological Well-being Lab. The lab studies social (e.g., social relationships) and personality aspects of psychological well-being (happiness and life satisfaction, meaning in life, emotions, and stress) using a variety of quantitative methods: Online and laboratory experiments, longitudinal studies, dyadic and round-robin designs, Ecological Momentary Assessment, and methods of computational social sciences (e.g., linguistic analysis of user responses in social media). The position offers the opportunity to develop and implement research projects on these or similar topics.
Tasks: ? Development and implementation of research projects, incl. preparation of publications in international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at (inter-)national conferences ? Support in the acquisition of third-party funding and in graduate education
? Teaching duties (in the scope of 4 hours/week) in the field of psychological diagnostics and personality psychology (in the Bachelor's program "Psychology" and in the Master's program "Psychology - Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy") and thesis supervision
Ihr Profil
? Completed university degree (diploma or master's degree) and a PhD in psychology ? Very good methodological and statistics skills (e.g., preferably, in R) and a high willingness to learn new methods ? Experience in planning and conducting scientific studies and data analysis ? Great interest in psychological research questions and the ability to work independently ? Teaching experience (ideally, in the area of personality and diagnostics, including clinical diagnostics) ? Strong command of German and English
