Jamie Gathing, associate director of diversity initiatives, Kelley School of Business: What I've seen are young students transform right before our eyes. This is an opportunity for them to network not only with their peers but also with upperclassmen, recent graduates, and even professionals.

Vishnu Kalvala: I'm so beyond thankful for getting this opportunity. I've been able to meet some of the top professors at a great school, and they've really given me a clear view at my first steps into college, which are very important.

Elise Massey: Personally, I love presenting and I'm in debate so just learning more skills that I could probably use for my communication and the professors have just been amazing and super energetic and they really taught valuable things in just a short period of time.

Terence Morgan: MEET Kelley will launch my future by helping me decide what major I want to do in college and it's given us the opportunity to work together on a case project and also meet professors that have been amazing and taught us new things.

Ashanti Skelton: I've gotten to meet some wonderful people, people that I've connected with, my mentors, gotten their numbers and their information, and I've really connected with them on a deep level. And these are people that I'm going to reach out to when I'm looking to apply to Kelley.

Brenda Rodriguez: Coming from a small competitive high school, I didn't really know anybody that was interested in business so coming her I've been able to collaborate with others who are also interested in business and together we've been to form this bond that feels like family.

MEET Kelley is free to all students accepted into the program. Residence hall lodging, food, and program costs are covered. You are responsible for travel costs to and from Bloomington and your personal spending money.

Application criteria

MEET Kelley is for high school students from historically underrepresented groups, namely students who identify as African American, Latino/Hispanic, American Indian/Native American, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or multiracial.

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be a high school student finishing their junior year and

• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
