As a member of the 727th Air Mobility Squadron you will serve as an aerial port freight loader and cargo processor, leading four or more personnel in performing general loading and off-loading of cargo aircraft. You will restrain cargo onboard aircraft using tie down chains and devices, straps, nets, and pallet rail mechanisms. You will also perform warehousing duties and operate motor vehicles, material handling equipment, forklifts, and cargo loaders up to and including vehicles with a typical weight more than 16 tons. You will provide on the job training in Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and Mechanized Materials Handling System (MMHS) to assigned personnel and monitor operations to ensure compliance with all applicable guidance for the safe loading and unloading of aircraft. You will also perform immediate servicing, refueling and checkout of vehicles to ensure operability and rubbish removal and latrine service from aircraft as required.,
