Ihre Aufgaben

• Planning, implementation and documentation of complex IT projects in the area of IT infrastructure, servers, administration and data center:

• Design, planning and commissioning of the new network infrastructure in the backbone, network segmentation and firewall at the perimeter, the new WLAN infrastructure on campus and the new virtual infrastructure.,

• Varied and responsible tasks in a dynamic international environment

• Extensive induction, good training and further education opportunities

• Remuneration in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD Bund) up to EG 13

• Social benefits comparable to the public service are provided, including a company pension plan.

Ihr Profil

• Completed scientific higher education minimum requirement Master in computer science, physics or comparable scientific higher education.

• Extensive experience in network planning and implementation is advantageous

• Profound knowledge of IT security especially in the network area

• Very good network knowledge (esp. HPe Aruba), segmentation, VLAN, routing, switching, Firewall (esp. Fortigate, pfsense) at the perimeter and for internal segmentation

• Knowledge in virtual infrastructures (esp. VMware, vxRail)

• Knowledge in large storage systems (esp. Netapp, Dell EMC)

• Documentation of projects until handover to the operations group and incident and problem management

• Profound knowledge in automated tools for installation, configuration and administration of heterogeneous computing environments

• Sound knowledge of Linux

• Conceptual and cross-functional thinking, organizational skills, eye for the essentials in research for the results-oriented implementation of goals in the IT service group area

• You also convince us as a stress-resistant team player with a strong service mentality, ability to work in a team and independently.

• Fluent communication skills in English
