Electromechanical Technician

Due to the ambitious growth of the organization, we wish to strengthen the team in Evergem and Ghent with an Electromechanical technician.

Ihre Aufgaben

As an Electromechanical Technician, you must perform factory-assigned maintenance work in compliance with AGP's quality, safety, environmental and health policies.

You will work 40 hours in 2 shifts or the night shift.

Responsibilities

• You perform active, corrective and periodic maintenance work according to the schedule and maintenance planning.

• You perform assigned work according to company rules and procedures and laws and regulations.

• You determine what resources are needed to perform assigned tasks (spare parts, materials, services, inputs).

• You correctly use the resources entrusted to you (tools and assigned equipment) in accordance with good workmanship.

• You apply the controls of Safety and Environmental Care required to perform tasks to ensure their integrity and that of your colleagues.

• You are able to communicate to your supervisor the risks identified for the performance of the work and take appropriate preventive measures.

• You are able to perform assigned work according to the procedures and/or instructions for its execution.

• You inform the supervisor of the progress of the planned work and any deviations noted in the work tasks.

• You complete assigned work order forms as well as related protocols and/or reports required for the performance of their work.

• You may return spare parts, components and materials from a plant modification or repair to the warehouse for proper classification or final disposal.

• You can ensure proper classification of waste generated in the work performed.

• You identify and suggest opportunities for improvement in the execution of maintenance.

• You participate in the development of work procedures or instructions for tasks related to their specialty.

• You may identify and suggest maintenance procedures to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to ensure compliance with AGP policies and guidelines when performing maintenance.

• You will follow the 5S methodology during his work so that he uses less energy and creates less waste. Cleaning up the work area before handing it over to the next shift.

Ihr Profil

• You have 3 years of experience in production/maintenance related positions or as a troubleshooting technician. Of this, 2 years in electromechanical maintenance department with improvements and focus on machine efficiency or as troubleshooting technician.

• You have advanced skills in Pneumatics, Hydraulics.

• You have basic skills in PLC (Simatic, Rockwell).

• You have basic skills in robots (Kuka, ABB).

• Advanced skills in electricity, low and medium voltage and basic knowledge of high voltage.

• You have good knowledge of 5S.

• You speak good English and the knowledge of Dutch is big PLUS.

• You can understand and design electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams.

• You are able to solve problems quickly and efficiently and find the root cause (analyses).

• You can work with MS office and SharePoint.
