Your mission
We are looking for a self-driven and hands-on service engineer who is fascinated by nano-precision EBPG systems and the world of NanoFabrication.
Your responsibilities

Managing and reporting on assigned customer cases e.g.; execution of periodic maintenance, fault diagnosis and execution of repairs

Installation of new systems and training of the customer

Close cooperation with production as well as the engineering department

Travel regionally and internationally (overseas)

Preparation of upcoming tasks and execution of support activities when not travelling
Ihr Profil
-
Bachelor level by education or by acquired experience in a technical direction with solid knowledge of electronics (analog and digital) and handy with (fine) mechanics.

3-5 years experience as (service) engineer in complex instrumentation that is used in a semiconductor environment.

Good PC and software (Linux) knowledge are key. Knowledge of electron optics, high voltage and vacuum technology is a bonus.

Passion, deductive capability, and a customer driven attitude are required to be able to work independently after around six months.

Proactive mindset and driven to understand and operate the complex machines and programs .

Able to realize the committed deadlines, even under pressure.

Good knowledge of the English language - and you like to travel and interact with people from various cultures.

Customer directed, perseverance and diplomatic skills are required.

Able to work independently and at the same time contribute to make the team stronger by sharing knowledge and participate in projects.
Secondary requirements
-
In possession of an EU residence and working permit.

Living in the Netherlands or planning to relocate on short notice to the Netherlands. You will be working in The Netherlands from your home-based office, that ideally is within a reasonable travel distance to a nearby international airport.

Willing to travel approximately 70% of the time.
