Ihre Aufgaben


In order to enable the strong growth of our company, the sales and marketing HQ of BYD Europe is looking for an HR Specialist to join our young, international team with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude.

As HR Specialist you support the HR Manager and perform a variety of tasks in the field of general personnel administration and rewards and employee benefits.

Personnel Administration

You administer the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. You play an active role in the inflow, through-flow and out-flow of a motivated, well balanced, multicultural workforce. You act as a contact person for all HR-related matters for our international employees.

Your activities include:

  • You maintain flawless employee files and an accurate HR filing system.

  • You manage all employment contracts.

  • You serve as a point of contact for all HR related topics.

  • You coordinate the visa and residence permit applications for Chinese and international employees.

  • You perform the daily employees' absenteeism check and manage sick notices and leave requests.

  • You maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

    Rewards and employee benefits

    You support the HR Manager in developing and implementing reward strategies, processes, and tools, aligned with the HR and business strategy of BYD, and with the aim to attract, motivate, retain and engage our employees. You execute the reward system plans and ensure they are current, competitive and in legal compliance. You ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the compensation information submitted to the finance department and you perform data analysis to ensure fair compensation.

    Your activities include:

  • You assist in the development and implementation of reward strategies, processes and tools.

  • You execute the reward policies, processes and tools and ensure they are current, competitive and in legal compliance. In addition, you ensure that they are correctly understood and executed in the organization.

  • You provide accurate information for the payroll in a timely manner.

  • You review and assess salaries and incentives and you contribute to making well founded proposals for compensation for new positions within the organization.

  • You gather and analyze data in respect of employee costs.

  • You gather benchmarking data and make proposals for compensation to make sure we remain competitive in terms of salaries and benefits.



Ihr Profil


  • 2-4 years of experience within a fast paced HR function.

  • Highly skilled Excel user and good with data analysis.

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Finance or equivalent by experience.

  • A good knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and principles.

  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage a demanding workload on a daily basis.

  • A general understanding of other human resources functionalities.

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in the English language. Dutch or Chinese is not required but can be an asset.

  • Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
