Technology Support Specialist

Ihre Aufgaben

• As a member of the End User Support team, acting as a single point of contact for all incidents and Service Requests for the end-users within the business

• Managing all IT assets (equipment and devices) and peripherals across warehouse spaces

• Maintaining accurate consolidated inventory, reflective of the stock location / assigned owner

• Maintaining warehouse spaces in an organised fashion

• Building, staging, updating and preparing laptops, mobiles, tablets, monitors, and peripherals as required for FIFA corporate operations, tournament and events

• Fulfilling end-user requests for hardware, including ordering, labelling and shipping assets

• Maintaining the end user devices from inventory up to date

• Supporting end-users in the IT Welcome Desk, logging and prioritizing tickets in the service management tool

• Resolving and/or escalating assigned tickets within agreed SLAs

• Identifying, analysing and solving problems in the area of responsibility

• Keeping end users informed on ticket status and progress

• Providing on-site and/or remote 1st and 2nd level end-user support, physical covering, on a rotation basis, all FIFA locations in Zürich

• Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting all end-user devices, such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers

• Deploying, testing and troubleshooting software applications and tools

• Troubleshooting video conference and other audio/video equipment

• Assisting and/or coordinating implementation of OS updates, software upgrades or installs, security patches, clean/remove malware as needed

• Contributing to the knowledge management process by creating relevant guidelines, procedures etc.

• Familiarity with video conferencing and other audio/video equipment and technologies

• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of networked devices (laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers etc.)

• Knowledge of industry standard service desk processes and procedures

• ITIL certification preferred
