BI Specialist

As Senior BI Specialist your focus is on more complex implementations in which you seek cooperation with the business, your team members and the other IT teams. Together with the Product Owner you take care of the development of the User Stories so that each sprint results in new business value. In this way, together with the team, you will create value within our business and help ensure that Accell can continue to distinguish itself in the bicycle industry. You will be based in Heerenveen, and will also have the opportunity to work from home. We are changing as a team; in the coming period we will transform our current data platform to modern technology.

In brief: You design, build and maintain high quality data pipelines. In addition, you make data sets/cubes available to the business (Self Service). You also perform technical testing of the products developed by the team. You generate new ETL code and take the lead in standardizing ETL software.

Ihre Aufgaben

You start the day with a daily stand-up (via Teams or on location) with the scrum team. You will consult with your colleagues and work on functional and technical designs, make analyses, and develop solutions as part of the features to be delivered. This happens in sprints of 2 weeks. Here we plan not only new features but also space for important enablers and addressing technical debt to keep our landscape and release process in shape.

• You have a completed education at least college bachelor level;

• Results-oriented and you are proactive by nature;

• You are analytical and energized by logic and patterns;

• You have a quick overview and can convince people with your knowledge;

• You have working experience with databases and SQL;

• You can model data sets and make them available to the user.

• The systems and tools we work with are:

• Strong knowledge of Azure Data platform (Synapse & ADF) and Power BI

• SAP Data Services, SAP IQ would be a pre

• You can lead the data platform to a higher level with architectural skills
