Sustainability analyst

We are looking for a talented sustainability analyst to harness data and drive sustainable change. As a sustainability analyst in the Business Analytics team, you will get the opportunity to work on strategic projects relating to gathering and analysing CO2 data and achieving net zero.

Joining Implement Consulting Group, your primary focus will be on harnessing sustainability data to drive impactful carbon accounting initiatives. Your expertise in Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) accounting and sustainability analytics will play a critical role in steering our organisation towards a greener future. Your ability to unravel complex data and translate it into actionable strategies is what will set you apart on this journey.

What will you be doing?

Your role as a sustainability analyst is crucial to our commitment to environmental responsibility. You will be entrusted with the following areas of responsibility:

• Establishing a methodology for calculating our corporate carbon footprint, from scientific taxonomy to the management of emission factors, conversion factors and other calculation inputs.
• Collaborating closely with various functions, such as our sustainability experts, internal accountants, Finance and Business Intelligence teams and our internal sustainability team, to build a solid foundation for our sustainability accounting needs.

Who are we looking for?

We are in search of a candidate with a BSc or MSc in sustainability or a related field, accompanied by a data-driven mindset with a passion for a greener future.

Your qualifications could include:

• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, R or Python.
• Familiarity with carbon accounting software tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to explain complex topics in various setups - from internal meetings to client and partner interactions.
• A deeply ingrained passion for contributing to a sustainable future.
• The ability to drive changes in processes and systems to improve carbon accounting practices.
