Lab Technician

Ihre Aufgaben

To assist in the day to day running of the of the UK Laboratory, providing analytical and technical assistance to those who require it.,

• Accountable for the day to day analysis of quality control or customer support samples as designated by the department supervisor or manager.

• Ensuring information and results provided to colleagues and/or customers is accurate and dispatched in a timely fashion.

• Reporting any issues with analytical methods, reagents and equipment as and when they arise.

• Accountable for the safe and appropriate storage and disposal of samples and reagents.

• Ensuring all environmental and health & safety requirements are adhered to.

• Liaising with colleagues within and outside of the laboratory and providing assistance where required to ensure smooth running of the department.

• Transferring Knowledge (training) of colleagues on basic analysis techniques as and when required

• Answer the telephones and responding/directing calls appropriately.

• General laboratory administration, support and improvement.

• Any other ad hoc duties or projects as appropriately designated by the UK Laboratory Manager, Customer Support Supervisor or Quality Control Supervisor.
