The Alice Smith School is one of the leading British international schools in Southeast Asia and the only not-for-profit British international school in Kuala Lumpur. Established in 1946 and set on two stunning campuses, The Alice Smith School has a reputation for providing an outstanding education to nearly 1,500 students aged 3 to 18 representing 47 nationalities.

With the appointment of Sian May as Head of School in 2022, we now seek an accomplished and authentic leader for the post of Secondary Principal from August 2024. This is a pivotal role in our community and will be driving and inspiring an organisational change and positive and professional workplace culture. The successful candidate will be a member of a newly structured Whole School Leadership Team. You will work closely with the Head of School, the Primary Principal, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief People and Culture Officer. You will also lead the Secondary School Leadership Team and drive our strategic roadmap as well as embed our purpose.

The appointee will be tasked with strengthening a culture of open-mindedness and change leadership. Creative, warm, and energetic, you will offer significant experience in international settings and will be an innovative thinker who is ambitious about the future of education.
