Our Graduate Rotation and Development Program (GRAD) is a challenging two-year development opportunity designed to help you obtain valuable company knowledge, hands-on experience and expertise in your chosen discipline. After the initial assignment, the successful candidate should be open to the possibility of relocating to other Chevron Phillips work locations in order to further their development.

We are hiring innovative and motivated Construction Specialist to join our Graduate Rotation and Development program (GRAD) for the upcoming year. This position is responsible for providing the direct field construction interface to the construction contractor on projects that are moderately complex, or may manage a number of smaller projects, including quality, budgets, and schedules during the construction phase of project delivery.

Key job tasks include:

• Support for construction planning and constructability reviews prior to construction mobilization

• Review of estimates and bids for construction

• Monitor work areas to assure compliance with safety goals and initiatives

• Coach and develop contractors to meet project safety expectations and targets

• Initiate safe work and hot work permits or arrange for permits in areas of the plant controlled by others

• Establish a thorough understanding of the project contracts and specifications

• Respond to contractor requests for information

• Review of contractor change requests

Ihr Profil

• 18 years of age or older

• Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not now or in the future require sponsorship by the employer

• Possess a degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering Management or related degree or currently enrolled in the final year of your Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or related degree program

  Preferred:

• Possess internship or equivalent work experience in a related industry
