Ihre Aufgaben

• You will work on industrial projects with a high mathematical proportion and adjacent mathematics projects and conduct applied research, e.g., in the Theory of Games, Fluid Dynamics, Computer Graphics, Data Science, or Graph Theory.

• You will research underlying principles and develop alternative and mathematically reliable solutions to put our project work on a mathematically established basis.

• If you are interested in academic research, the following possibilities exist:

• Industry Ph.D. in cooperation with our top-class partners from the research sector.

• You will participate in research applications and publications and present research results at conferences.

• You will cooperate with universities and research institutes and initiate and supervise master theses.

• You act as a creative incubator for innovative ideas and invent visionary technologies as part of an interdisciplinary team for which you win adequate international research projects.

• You are an expert for recognizing innovative trends in our key markets and by that help us to early adapt to future challenges, e.g. regarding AI, Autonomous Driving, Edge Computing, Green Technology, HMI, Future Engineering, Data Science, Systems Engineering, Virtual Experience, Quantum Computing.

• You coordinate research topics, create internal and external partner networks, build consortia and find adequate research calls.

Ihr Profil

• An outstanding master's degree or Ph.D. with a solid affinity for mathematics and its applications, e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, and other natural sciences.

• Knowledge of at least one higher programing language, e.g., Python, C#, C++, Java, or Matlab.

• Having fun with applied Mathematics and abstract questions in a technologically innovative field.

• Experience in acquisition and coordination of international, collaborative research projects.

• Ability to confidently lead and engage in discussions, motivate and present in public as well as to think and act independently at a high complexity level.

• An innovative spirit, ability to be proactive, and enjoyment of learning and tinkering.

• Very good English skills and a cosmopolitan personality, preferably experience in working abroad.
