Research Position (Postdoc)

Ihre Aufgaben

• participate in joint research projects and discussions in the project A6, and assist in planning and organizing project-oriented events, e. g., workshops (5 %)

• contribute to the main topics of discussion and research in the CRC TRR (5 %)

• assist in planning and organizing CRC TRR events (5 %)

Ihr Profil

• scientific university degree (e. g. master or diploma) in mathematics

• PhD in Mathematics, preferrably Algebra, Number Theory or Geometry, completed or about to complete

• very good oral and written English skills

• independent, dedicated and self-reliant style of work

• cooperative and team-oriented way of working

• German skills or readiness and ability to learn it in the course of the first year (CEFR-Level A2 Niveau) to be able to perform tasks in research, teaching and academic self-administration in German as well

• fixed-term (limited until 31.12.2026) (§ 2 (1) of the WissZeitVG; in accordance with the provisions of the WissZeitVG and the Agreement on Satisfactory Conditions of Employment, the length of contract may differ in individual cases)
