The Kimbell School of Geosciences invites applications for a full-time, one-year Visiting Instructor position to begin fall 2024. The successful candidate must demonstrate a potential for exceptional teaching in introductory coursework and a willingness to assist with department success. We seek a broadly-trained earth scientist who will focus on the execution of online classes in introductory geology populated elusively by non-majors. Duties also include assistance with department teaching collections, program outreach, and engagement with department operations.

An M.S. in Geosciences with demonstrated teaching excellence in introductory coursework is required.
Standard Requirements Requires the ability to work well with diverse populations and maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
