Power Systems group announces a position as Junior Engineer (R1) to work on project DigiBAT funded by ACCIO through the Nuclis Call in the fields of Battery Modelling, Control and BMS development for Energy Storage Systems in Hybrid configuration. The tasks to be carried out will be focused to development and programming of tools to increase the battery system intelligence and controllability. Additionally, experimental activities and set ups within IREC's lab facilities are expected.

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor or Master's in Industrial engineering, Mathematics, Electronics engineering or other related degrees.

• Knowledge and interest in modelling battery systems

• Interest on energy storage and smart grid related issues

• Knowledge and experience with the following programming languages and software: C, Python, GIT, Matlab Preferred (not all):

• Knowledge in cybersecurity.

• Knowledge in databases, etc

• Experience in work in collaborative projects.

• Good communications skills in English are mandatory.

• Knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan will be beneficial. Personal skills:

Offer of job position:

We offer a R1 position for 18 months on the frame of DIGIBAT project, with potential extension.

Salaries will be paid in accordance with the IREC's salary policy, depending on the candidate's qualification and professional experience.
