The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation is looking to appoint a Europe Associate that will help identify mission-driven organizations for funding, evaluate potential grant and investment opportunities with our team, and advance the strategic priorities of both our organization and our portfolio in an effective, efficient, and equitable manner. As the Associate for the Europe portfolio, you will have the opportunity to help launch and support ventures that aim to create meaningful change.

Ihr Profil

The ideal candidate for the exciting role of Europe Associate is a dedicated individual with over seven years of experience in strategic roles, ideally with a background in social impact, strategy, or impact investing. A graduate degree is required, with an MBA preferred or equivalent work experience in fields related to social impact, strategy, and/or impact investing. Familiarity with start-ups or fast-growing social mission organizations will be invaluable. You must be able to fluently communicate and write in Dutch.

We are seeking a candidate who will be flexible, self-directed, and possess an ownership mindset. Their ability to manage multiple projects with a calmness under pressure will be key in our entrepreneurial environment. We value high emotional intelligence, as the individual will need to connect with entrepreneurs, understand their stories, and work effectively within our team. A curious and smart candidate, you will need to spot potential opportunities, evaluate them judiciously, and communicate effectively. Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail are a must, as is the ability to represent DRK professionally in various external interactions.

Salary & Benefits: The salary is competitive and commensurate with the seniority of the appointment., This full-time position will be based in Den Hague, The Netherlands. This position follows a 2/3 model, requiring two days per week in the office (Monday and Wednesday), with the remaining three days being flexible for staff to work from home if they desire.
