Department Assistant 4

Ihre Aufgaben

In collaboration with the Writing Center Manager, the department assistant will:

• Plan, manage, and create content for the Writing Center's Instagram account.

• Design and create fliers, posters, and other media to promote the Writing Center's services to NU-Q students.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee Writing Center events and other forms of community outreach.

• Track and maintain records of Writing Center outreach activities and initiatives.

• Taking videos and images for the Writing Center events, workshops, and any other activity using a phone or camera

• Using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit videos for the Writing Center social media

• Work in-person from the Writing Center; Attend weekly meetings. (Strong preference for someone who can work 20 hours per week.)

• Other tasks as assigned

Ihr Profil

• Senior, Junior, or outstanding Sophomore

• Good academic standing; minimum 3.0 GPA,

• Experience in video editing,

• High attention to detail and ability to work alongside staff and students

• Demonstrated ability to follow-through on projects, to proactively plan, and to manage time sensitive matters

• Proficiency in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro, including the ability to effectively use Canva
