The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies at Stonehill College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor. The faculty member will join the College's full-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students. This is an on-campus position, and a qualified candidate must teach on the physical Stonehill College campus and online as we expand our offerings. Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 13:1, the College engages its 2,500 students in 80+ rigorous academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, and pre-professional fields. The 30-credit Master of Professional Studies in Data Analytics, an AACSB-accredited graduate degree, housed within the Department of Graduate Business Administration, is designed to meet the demand from employers and provide students with an end-to-end analytics education through a core curriculum with practical experience. The MPS in Data Analytics prepares students with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of working with data along with the capacity to identify and communicate analysis to stakeholders. Students graduate with a portfolio of work demonstrating their abilities and receive a Tier 3 SAS Academic Specialization. The program also offers a 15-credit Data Analytics Graduate Certificate.

The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies provides academic leadership and oversight of the College's graduate and professional programs. GPS offers in-person, hybrid, and fully online master's degrees, graduate certificates, and professional development in business, education, and professional science programs. Our academic programs are designed to empower working professionals and recent graduates to expand their employment and career opportunities through rigorous, convenient, and flexible academic offerings. Faculty in the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies work within their respective graduate department as well as collaboratively with joint and undergraduate colleagues in related undergraduate departments and Schools. GPS works closely and collaboratively with the Leo J. Meehan School of Business and working across the division and school is an expectation of all faculty members. Position Summary The AACSB-accredited Department of Management & Business Analytics in the Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business Analytics. This person would join the Business School's full-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students. This is an on-campus position, and a qualified candidate must teach on the physical Stonehill College campus. The Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College is AACSB accredited and offers majors in Accounting, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, International Business, Sport Management, Marketing, Economics, and Healthcare Management. The School offers minors in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, and Healthcare Management, as well as a Master of Professional Studies in Data Analytics and a Master of Science in Marketing., As an Assistant Professor, the faculty member will teach a variety of graduate courses such as Statistics for Data Analytics, Database & Data Warehouse Concepts, Structured Data Mining Using SAS, Database Applications, Visualization & Digital Storytelling, and others. It will be expected that the Coordinator maintain up-to-date knowledge of new software as needed for use in business/data analytics and graduate business academic programs. In addition, as a member of GPS, the faculty will contribute to quality assurance and accreditation, policy development, and liaising with external stakeholders.

Faculty in GPS assist with curriculum development and review, student recruitment efforts, student support and advising, faculty coordination, and course scheduling., The applicant must commit to ongoing research productivity and demonstrate participation in the broader academic community in terms of journal review responsibilities, participation in academic conferences, and other academic roles. A commitment to service to the Department, School, and College is also essential. The applicant must show a strong interest in teaching and mentoring graduate students and enjoy working closely with student advisees to establish academic and professional goals. Ihr Profil


Doctoral Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Additionally, full-time experience in graduate higher education is expected. Administrative experience is helpful but not required., Posting Detail Information
