Ihre Aufgaben

Deputy Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation and overall management of all SafeLane Field Operations in accordance with SafeLane SOPs, IMAS and NTSGs. The scope of work provided by Deputy Operations Managed includes:

• Conduct risk assessments of all operational tasks and associated threats to ensure safety of all staff.

• Assist the Operations Manager with refresher training schedules and implement refresher training in preparation for accreditation.

• Review task sheets and internally approve implementation plans, demolition orders and completion reports as compiled by the Team Leader.

• Maintain and update Quality Management process, and conduct Quality Control/Quality Assurance monitoring, scheduling and evaluation of all operational tasks to ensure safety and effectiveness.

• Update and maintain the project QA and non-conformity registers.

• Maintain an up to date knowledge of all mines and munitions.

• Conduct reconnaissance and surveys of mine/UXO contaminated areas as directed by the Project Manager or Operations Manager.

Ihr Profil

• Previous experience with both handheld and large loop detectors.

• 5 years of international experience in humanitarian mine action operations.
