Become part of EIFER and drive climate solutions where science meets industry., Research Program Contribution: Participate in the development of tools and shape future research activities by engaging with EIFER members and public authorities to understand their key challenges and needs. Contribute to calls for publicly funded projects.
- Climate Change and Energy Transition: Gain an understanding of local issues related to climate change and energy transition.
- Geospatial Analysis: Conduct technical geospatial analysis-based studies for EIFER's clients, including the development of: -Suitable indicators, methods, and support for energy planning at the municipality/region level. -Methods to assess geographical potential in the context of climate change and resilience. -Cartography/mapping using GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) and statistical analysis approaches.
- External Presentations: Present activities and contribute to conferences.
Ihr Profil
Master's degree in geomatics, geospatial data analysis, or related field.
- Knowledge in territorial planning and/or climate change.
- Proficiency in geospatial analysis and GIS tools.
- Familiarity with Python, Geopandas, and/or PostgreSQL.
- Fluent in English; French and German is a plus.
