Solution-oriented advice on all trade compliance-re-lated issues that arise
-
Driving key initiatives for the Trade Compliance Pro-gramme in an international group of companies
-
Identifying and minimising Trade Compliance Risks
-
Regular assessment, improvement, implementation and monitoring of processes, policies and proce-dures/controls relating to import/export controls, AML and CFT
-
Conducting (regular) checks against sanctions lists and extended KYC due diligence reviews
-
Review relevant legal and regulatory developments on Yazaki's business

Conduct trade compliance and systems training for management and employees

Working cross-functionally with employees at all lev-els to ensure efficient integration and implementa-tion of the Trade Compliance Programme

Contact for the external service providers and au-thorities for the area of customs and foreign trade as well as for all internal departments on the topic of customs and foreign trade

support in establishing consistent standards for en-suring the proper tariff and export control classifica-tion
-
coordinate business and functional department members to implement business-level controls
-
ensure that trade compliance requirements are un-derstood and embedded in transactional routines by identifying training needs, coordinating internal communication initiatives, organizing training for concerned stakeholders, conducting audits and su-pervising self-assessments

ensure IT systems are compliant with regulatory re-quirements and company procedures with regards to trade compliance
Ihr Profil

Excellent knowledge of applicable trade regulations, including import/export restrictive measures, AML and CFT regulations
-
At least 7-10 years [tbc] of relevant post qualifica-tion experience gained in customs administrations, industrial and/or consulting companies in Trade Compliance and related legal bases (EU, UN, UK, US, DE [tbc])

Particular experience in Export Control (dual-use goods, embargo regulations, asset freeze re-strictions and further product / business partner re-lated Sanctions), Import Clearance, Export Clear-ance, Customs Processes [tbc].

University Degree (e.g. law, economics) or compara-ble education

Strong understanding of regulatory analysis and ex-pertise in the development and implementation of Trade related Policies, Procedures and Controls (Sanctions checks, Third-Party Due Diligence etc.) as well as related IT applications

Strong motivation and ability to develop and suc-cessfully manage projects in a complex stakeholder environment

Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deadlines in an international team

High service and solution orientation as well as reli-ability

Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communi-cation skills
