Ihre Aufgaben

The Finance Manager (f/m/d) for Cytiva is responsible to lead the annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles, prepare and report monthly actuals and forecasts to the Finance leadership team. This position is an individual contributor role and does not have direct reports or leadership responsibilities.

This position is part of the Finance Team located in Cologne (Germany) and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Maintain a culture of control and compliance with regards to financial controls and cost discipline to ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with local and Cytiva requirements in close collaboration with the rest of the Finance team.

• Develop and maintain performance KPIs to drive growth and profitability for the Cevec's portfolio, including orders, sales, pricing, margin, and market share; to frequently present the analysis of actuals vs plan.

• Monitor the progress on agreed initiatives, through relevant KPIs and Risks & Opportunities, to pro-actively recommend mitigation actions for any deviations from target performance metrics.

• Maintain appropriate record keeping in line with Cytiva and local standards, supporting the statutory account and specific legal entity requirements.

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration degree and minimum of 3 years of financial work experience developing forecasts and operating plans and leading business/finance reviews.

• Strong skills in financial systems / applications (i.e. Oracle, Qlik, Power BI, etc.) for reporting and business intelligence, and expert skills in Microsoft Excel for data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup, power queries, and macros).

• Working in a global business environment with strong understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership (i.e. SOX, US GAAP).

• Excellent communication skills to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner both verbally and written.

• Fluent in English and German languages.

  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Finance / FP&A within international organizations in the Life Sciences / Healthcare industry.

• Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions being able to quickly grasp new ideas and drive positive change.
