Department Core Responsibilities
- Identification of suitable tenders on the market and analysis of tender documents (Terms of Reference / ToR) to determine fulfilment of administrative and organisational requirements to assess whether to proceed with a tender
- Coordinate the EoI / tender teams in the preparation of expressions of interest (EoI) and tender documents in compliance with deadlines
- Communicate with national and international partners, subsidiaries, funding organisations, clients, and project staff to ensure all tender requirements are met.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all administrative documents prepared and received
- Formulate non-technical proposal components (e.g. description of project personnel, quality management, logistics) in the project language
- Format documents to the highest quality standards using Microsoft Office products
- Compile and submit the final EoI / offer documents
- Manage and maintain relevant data and databases Educational Background
- University Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in a relevant field
Very strong language skills:
- Fluent in English and French (excellent spoken and written language skills)
- Ideally strong proficiency in Spanish OR German
- Portuguese language skills are a plus Required Expertise / Profile
- Several years of experience managing projects and/or teams
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving competency
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and managing large documents and graphics
- Organisational skills, especially when working under time pressure
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and flexibility
- Previous experience in acquisition support or global tender management within international development cooperation is an advantage
