- Strategically develop the wood screw range
- Develop and implement category strategy in line with corporate strategy
- Continuously improve assortment offer and build innovation pipeline together with engineering and sourcing.
- Define appropriate go-to-market approaches together with strategic marketing incl. pricing and sales teams to meet the needs of the joiner, carpenter and roofer.
- Steer sales and margin of your category by ensuring assortment productivity, drive business development activity with the sales organizations and perform product lifecycle management
- Standardize & harmonize existing assortments according to defined international category targets
- Steer the product portfolio and ensure it is up to date with changing market conditions (technological, legal & environmental guidelines)
- Drive commercial success of your product category based on defined KPI set by continuous monitoring and definition of improvement levers
- Develop and implement assortment strategy for your category
- Define product roadmap as well as development needs incl. product lifecycle management and align with relevant functions
- Track your product/assortment projects in terms of time, cost and specification
- Drive innovation management, ensure continuous updates of your assortment according to customer expectations and strategic guidelines
- Roll out product roadmap based on accepted business cases with respective functions and regional marketing
- Manage cross-functional projects according to your area of product responsibility
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor/Master in Business Administration/Marketing
- Alternative technical education with professional experiences in product management or category management of international assortments
- Previous work experience in an international setting
- Background in screws / timber construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive mindset; driven by results
- Customer- and process-centric approach
- Ability to manage tasks effectively, even in high-pressure situations
- Experience in leading projects
- Strong abilities in stakeholder management
- Proficiency in SAP-BW, MS-Office, and PIM (Product Information Management) knowledge
- English B1/B2 level
