Ihre Aufgaben

As Head of Simulation Main Light Functions (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the further development of the department "Optical Design Engineering" in the Business Group Lighting at the Lippstadt site in close cooperation with our international sites (e.g. China, North America, Eastern Europe).

• In the context of automotive trends, you and your team will develop new innovative, future-oriented solutions for headlamps and modules that further consolidate and expand our top positioning in the competition and the market in terms of function, quality and cost.

• You will identify and follow trends in the market environment and set new impulses with your team, thus strengthening the innovative power of the product segments.

• Together with our international development partners, you will take the lead in aligning the strategic development roadmap to the future and implementing it in a goal-oriented manner.

• In your function, you will report to the Head of Lighting Engineering.

Ihr Profil

• Successfully completed technical studies, e.g. in lighting engineering, optics, physical engineering or a comparable field of study.

• Knowledge and experience in the application and further development of software and methodologies for design and simulation.

• Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role in the automotive environment or a comparable industry.

• Distinct experience in international project business, in disciplinary leadership as well as good knowledge of development processes in the automotive environment.

• Systematic and structured work style with strong communication and motivation skills.

• Willingness and ability to communicate with customers.

• Business fluent in German and English.
