Working Student Procurement Controlling (d/f/m)

Ihre Aufgaben

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.,

• Controlling and analysis: Support Procurement Controlling Department for the cost center controlling activities of the Supply Chain and Transport & Logistic departments, including monthly closing activities, Actuals/Budget comparisons and validation of expenses.

• Definition, proposition and implementation of measures to minimize P & L contribution.

• Reporting: Support Procurement Controlling Department for the preparation of regular reports (budget,actuals, capex, missing hours, etc...) to various stakeholders such as Procurement function and Finance, including commenting of KPIs in light of business events.

• Forecasting / Planning activities: Support Procurement Controlling Department for establishing an operative planning (OP) for Costs and Capex, a yearly-budget as well as (up to) 3 forecasts per year for the Supply Chain and Transport & Logistic departments in Manching.

• You will be a vital part of the Finance community with different links to project and program organizations.

Ihr Profil

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Economics, Business Administration or an equivalent field of study.

• Willingness to work and learn in budgetary controlling, Accounting or a related area.

• Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, powerpoint).

• Proactive and independent working style.

• Ability to deal with various stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills and problem solving approach.

• Negotiation level of English and fluent German skills required., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
