Industrial Administrators manage business processes in the company. They compare offers in Materials Management, negotiate with suppliers and oversee incoming goods and warehousing. In Production Management they plan, manage and monitor the production of goods or services and generate work order documents. Generating calculations and price lists for negotiations with customers is part of their responsibility in Sales. Additionally, they develop marketing strategies. They are active in the Accounting and Finance Departments, handling, booking and checking processes in day to day business. They work out staffing requirements in HR, assist with recruitment and selection and plan employee allocation.

Marketing, Electronics Engineers in Manufacturing Engineering install electrical components and equipment for electrical power supply, industrial facilities or buildings and automation systems. They design system changes and expansions, install wiring systems and power supplies, set up machines and drive systems and install control units. In addition, they program, configure and test systems and safety installations. They also monitor the facilities, regularly maintain them, carry out regular checks and repair them when faulty. They also organise the installation of equipment and monitor the work carried out by third parties and other groups. When handing over the equipment the Electronics Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering trains the future operators how to use it.

Duration
Electrical Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering is a formally recognised apprenticeship in the industry and takes 3.5 years. The training takes part in the company and at the vocational school in Freiburg., Process Technicians for Plastic and Rubber Technology with specialist subject semi-finished materials manufacture plastic and rubber products or goods, such as films in our company, which are subsequently processed. They plan production processes, set up and operate production machines and equipment. Process Technicians for Plastic and Rubber Technology monitor and optimise the production process. They use special processing procedures and make compounds according to a formulation. Additionally, they are familiar with incoming goods control, the preparation and testing of materials and with product properties.

Duration
Process Technician for Plastic and Rubber Technology with specialist subject semi-finished materials is a formally recognised apprenticeship in the industry and takes 3 years. The training takes part in the company, in the apprentice workshop and at the vocational school in Emmendingen., Machine and Systems Operators set up or convert production machines and equipment, put them into operation, run and monitor them. They control and check the processes to recognise machine malfunctions at an early stage and repair them where necessary.

Laboratory Assistant apprenticeship is a formally recognised apprenticeship in the industry and takes 3.5 years. The training takes part in the company and at the vocational school in Freiburg., Bachelor of Arts Business Administration is responsible for customer support, consultancy and sales, market surveying and observation, planning, deployment and control of marketing tools, processing and monitoring of payment transactions, operating statistics, personnel administration and management, and accounting and costing. When selecting the suppliers, they take into account purchasing prices, conditions, quality and term accuracy. They use the EDP system more intensively to control the entire flow of goods using fully integrated merchandise management systems. The main tasks are sales, finance, accounting and human resources.
The Study
In addition to the economic fundamentals, the specific contents are split in four different areas.

Controlling / Finance and Accounting Differentiated knowledge in the areas of balance sheet analysis, consolidated financial statements, financial and investment management, value-oriented management, key figure systems and in various systems of cost and performance accounting (e.g. direct costing, target costing, process cost accounting) are taught.

Marketing / Sales management Mediation of approaches to the explanation of customer behavior, brand and advertising management, strategic and operational marketing planning, industrial goods marketing, marketing controlling, methods of market research, online marketing, CRM as well as sales management and sales controlling.

Materials Management / Production Management Purchasing, Logistics and Sales require knowledge of strategic and operational procurement planning, supplier and contract management, inventory management, production planning and control as well as e-logistics, quality management, supply chain management and logistics control.

Human Resources Personnel management is mainly concerned with personnel planning, personnel development, personnel selection, labor law, remuneration, international human resource management, employee management and social insurance.
