EDRS Mission Operations Centre Operator

Ihre Aufgaben

• Providing all means necessary for proper, efficient and safe flight operations are required for all customers depending on the flight/deployment;

• Supporting the customer's day-to-day business by responding to all customer inquiries;

• Execution of operations or advice on operational issues;

• Based on the results of early deployments, the evaluation of performance compared to the forecasts and publishing a bug report and updating the processes;

• Final product operation/deployment, including planning, monitoring and operational

• Routine flight/mission support and emergency and emergency response implementation;

• Recovery measures based on real-time data, You can enjoy some flexibility with regards to your start and leave time. Moreover, if you work longer than your contractual time, this time can be accumulated and taken at a different time when business allows, in accordance with your line manager.

Ihr Profil

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Bachelor in aerospace or aerospace or a relevant discipline;

• Experience in aerospace sector at least over 1 year;

• Knowledge of satellite and/or ground segment operations is desirable;

• Knowledge of IT problem solving is an advantage;

• Linux and/or Windows knowledge is an advantage;

• Knowledge of satellite communications, earth observation missions, mission operations ground infrastructure are an advantage;

• Strong customer and service orientation;

• Willingness to work shifts (3 shifts (no night shift));

• High motivation, initiative, high flexibility and good communication skills;

• Ability to work in a multinational team organization;

• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
