We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Internship Student to join our team and support the development of efficient data pipelines and processing frameworks. This role is ideal for a student passionate about data handling and optimization, with a keen interest in applying their skills to real-world challenges in an R&D-driven environment.

Internship Data Processing & Optimization (m/f/d) What you can expect

• Data Pipeline Optimization: Take ownership of researching best practices for data storage and processing to enhance efficiency and communication within the company.
• Data Processing & Analysis: Work on optimizing data workflows, including processing experimental data and improving the timelines for generating actionable results.
• Collaboration with Founders: Work closely with the founder team to design and implement scalable data processing solutions that align with the companys goals.
• Research & Implementation: Investigate cutting-edge data management practices and propose high-level strategies to improve the companys data infrastructure.
• Support R&D Activities: If applicable, contribute to experimental data acquisition processes and provide insights into improving data handling for research purposes. What you bring to the table
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Data Expertise: Familiarity with data analysis and processing methods beyond Excel (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar tools).
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to take ownership of challenges and deliver innovative, practical solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and capable of managing data flows and ensuring clear communication of findings.
• Optional Advantage: Understanding of experimental data acquisition or experience in an R&D environment, particularly in wet work or experimental data generation.
• Curiosity & Initiative: Willingness to explore new tools, methods, and practices to drive improvement in data-related processes.
