Ihre Aufgaben

We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at Munich Re Service GmbH in Munich. In this exciting role, you will support our business in managing all legal affairs, from drafting and reviewing contracts to advising on data protection, IT law, and compliance. You will use your legal expertise as you collaborate with our team, monitor legal developments and train colleagues.

Your Job

• Providing legal expertise to help our business with managing all legal matters.

• Supporting management and sales with drafting, managing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.

• Internal consulting on contractual matters, data protection, IT law, company law, intellectual property, licensing, and compliance topics.

• Collaborating with colleagues on various legal and compliance projects, initiatives and audits.

• Monitoring relevant international developments and proactively consulting on new or amended regulations, e.g. DORA, AI Act, NIS2, and VAIT.

• Developing and implementing innovative legal solutions for contractual frameworks as needed.

• Providing training and guidance to colleagues on legal matters.

Ihr Profil

• Degree in law with two German state exams or equivalent qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in a law firm or company.

• Strong drafting, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and negotiation skills.

• Flexible and adaptable with a strong affinity for digital products and technologies.

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.

• Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Team player with strong customer orientation.
