Ihre Aufgaben

• Ensuring compliance with consumer product safety regulations in all relevant markets, thus preventing penalties, fines, or delisting due to compliance reasons.

• Gate keeper to ensure projects and products compliance from early stage to product launch* Supports consumer product development from idea to launch in all regulatory aspects

• Conducts product risk assessments regarding quality, customers safety & legal obligations* Keeps up with evolving product & markets obligation regarding quality, safety & environmental aspects* Involves CRA into process to ensure compliant specification released to supplier* Engages with regulatory authorities, agencies, and industry associations* Manages product recalls and corrective actions

Ihr Profil

• In-depth knowledge of EU environmental law, consumer protection law, and product safety regulations

• Ability to monitor legal developments, assess risks, and provide sound legal advice

• Experience in working with authorities and market surveillance agencies, including deadline management and communication

• Product and Packaging Competence

• Understanding of product compliance, quality management, audit preparation, and lifecycle management

• Experience in managing products throughout their entire lifecycle

• Digital and Data-Driven Skills

• Knowledge of Digital Product Passport (DPP), Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), certifications, and sustainability data

• Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems, preferably with a focus on regulatory requirements

• Communication and Interface Management

• Ability to coordinate between departments such as Marketing, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Legal

• Experience in preparing approval dossiers and authorization applications

• Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities

• Participation in international working groups and industry associations
