Are you passionate about user-centered design and intrigued by the software development of automotive Human-Machine Interfaces? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our HMI section at Honda R&D Europe (Deutschland) GmbH as an intern or working student.

The HMI section plays a pivotal role in designing and developing new interfaces that enhance the interaction between drivers, passengers, and vehicles. As an intern/ working student in this section, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of skilled professionals, gaining hands-on experience in developing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for future Honda vehicles and the tools surrounding. It's your chance to play a role in shaping the future of automotive technology while being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization like Honda.

Target

This position will allow you to gain hands-on experience in Unity development, Web development, UX design, UX research, and prototyping new concepts.

You should meet the following requirements:

• Currently be enrolled as a student in a field such as Human-Computer Interaction or Interactive Media Design
• Preferred familiarity with tools like Unity, git, Blender, C#, Kotlin, Web technologies like svelte or similar tech
• Solid understanding of key principles and methodologies in software development. This includes understanding concepts such as version control, debugging, software architecture, testing methodologies and programming languages
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are vital for collaborating effectively with our team
