Our team in Rostock (alternatively Hamburg) is looking for a new a
colleague!
Your Tasks:
- Design electrical systems with focus on main converter
- Develop and specify the lightning and overvoltage protection system
- Conduct detailed simulations (in MATLAB or other designated tools),
analyze and optimize electrical safety systems - Lead the development of risk assessment methodologies and ensure
adherence to global standards and requirements - Collaborate closely with internal departments and external
component suppliers to integrate electrical safety systems into
turbine designs - Coordinate field testing, analyzing data to validate designs and
ensure durability - Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications
- Participate in internal and external audits
Your Profile:
- Dipl.-Ing. or Master of Electrical Engineering, Automation
Technology, Mechatronics or comparable - Experience in electrical design, ideally within the wind industry or
renewable energy sector - In-depth understanding of industry standards including ISO and IEC
- Skilled in using simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured way of
working - Communicative personality with the motivation to work in a team
and to push projects with friendliness but persistence - Good written and spoken German and English skills to perform in a
cross-cultural working environment
