Subproject Manager (m/f/d)

Ihre Aufgaben

• Subproject management of overall satellite products up to delivery to customer

• Overall coordination between AIT, procurement, product assurance and engineering

• Creation, maintenance and communication of necessary schedules to track progress and proactive management to ensure efficient production

• Close collaboration with project chief engineer, AIT manager, procurement manager for all topics related to production

• Provide technical direction for team members to ensure quality of deliverables and capability of team members

• Drive innovation within your team to refine processes and strategize changes that increase manufacturing efficiency and capabilities

• Prepare and implement all necessary tradeoffs and associated measures to ensure efficient production

• Regular reporting to project manager on model status and progress

Ihr Profil

• Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent

• Proven track record as model manager for a satellite product

• Strong knowledge of EO programmes generally and EO mission programmatics specifically

• Strong knowledge of the particular constraints and challenges of earth observation missions

• Very good understanding of challenges related to schedule, budget, quality in space projects and a good ability to balance and set priorities between quality, costs and schedule

• Experience in technical leadership of project teams, particularly related to production

• High degree of customer orientation, as well as result orientation and cost awareness

• Confident and convincing appearance, strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset

• Highly proactive, structured and self-organized working style

• Team player with high willingness to cooperate and high conflict solving ability

• Very good communication skills

• Very strong organizational skills

• Working level proficiency in written and spoken English
