Your tasks:
- Leading and developing the Data & ML Engineer team in Sofia;
- Recruiting and continuously expanding the team;
- Serving as a role model for agile methodology with a strong customer and service focus;
- Coordinating between the local team and teams in Germany and Ãà ÃódÃà ú;
- Being part of the management team in Frankfurt, Ãà ÃódÃà ú, and Sofia, contributing to cluster development;
- Driving knowledge transfer and exchange within the cluster;
- Leading the development of the self-service platform SDK for data science operations on Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure;
- Architecting software solutions for hybrid processing across multi-cloud and on-premises environments;
- Collaborating with data scientists and ML experts to promote the platform, ensuring ML models are production-ready, scalable, and performant;
- Mentoring team members, fostering continuous learning and quality improvement;
Your profile:
- Proven experience in building, leading and developing a team of software engineers and business experts;
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
- Strong programming skills Python, Java or Scala;
- Excellent leadership skills;
- Strong interest in collaboration within distributed teams as well as actively supporting the build-up of new teams;
- Customer orientation and ownership attitude for the assigned responsibilities to deliver results in time and in line with the clients need
- Fluency in English - both written and spoken;
- University degree in IT or relevant.
