We are seeking a dedicated (Senior) Category Buyer Software to join our Software Category Team, which is part of the Global Procurement Organization.

Wide-Ranging Responsibilities: Your role will involve procuring various types of software, including client, server, network, infrastructure, cloud/SaaS, and others.

Business Value Enabler: You will act as a trusted business value enabler for all SAP business areas, representing the software category within SAP's global procurement organization.

Contract Management & Supplier Collaboration: You will negotiate and manage large-scale contracts while working closely with our valued suppliers and overseeing contract management for your cases.

Supplier Management & Strategy: In close alignment with the Category Manager, you will drive supplier management, procurement strategies, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Innovation & Optimization: You will seek opportunities for improvement, innovation, and cost savings by conducting market analyses and benchmarking to gain market insights and negotiation advantages., In your day-to-day role, you will work closely with the Category Manager Software and our Software Category Team based in Prague. You'll join a highly motivated, dynamic, and collaborative team that prioritizes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Knowledge of common licensing metrics and the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable sourcing activities are advantageous.

Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English is required for this role.
