  Abbott Core Diagnostics, Abbott GmbH is looking for a Senior Manager Quality Assurance EEMEAP, based in Wiesbaden.

  Primary Objective of Position

• Lead the EEMEAP Quality team

• Ensure professional development within the team

• Supports the business in EEMEAP as quality compliance expert

Ihre Aufgaben

• Ensure Quality System awareness and compliance in EEMEAP:

• Receive audit input and ensure QS Document Control to implement CAPA and improvements

• Promote and support awareness and training to the organization on the Core Diagnostics Quality System.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Identify potential improvements to the EEMEAP Quality Systems (MIMS). Ensure the implementation of improvement projects

• Optimize EEMEAP I global processes and Quality Systems

• Support Global Commercial Affiliates QA projects.

• Maintain/ challenge current certifications. Obtain new certificates as required by regulations or to support the business.

• Interview and hire staff as necessary, conduct annual performance reviews, set objectives and develop the team within their positions or for future responsibilities

• Build a strong team with enough expertise to support the whole area

• Establish a culture of teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement

• Ensure effective teamwork to collaborate with the business in all EEMEAP

• Assure the same level of compliance across EEMEAP

• Develop experts to support EEMEAP / global improvement initiatives

• Ensure that knowledge and experience acquired during professional life is transferred to other team members.

• Manage the QA budget, always considering cost improvement opportunities

Ihr Profil

• Scientific background (i.e. Lab Technician, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, M.D.) is preferred.

• Proven long experience in the diagnostic industry, preferably with Abbott (commercial affiliate or manufacturing)/ clinical laboratory

• Management skills and leadership competencies

• English negotiation skills. Other language skills desirable

• Experience to work in international environment/projects.

• Cultural sensibility
